Kids birthday Parties.

Let your kids and friends have fun with us whilst you just prepare the food. We entertain you birthday child and guests.

One big area so children are  kept in sight. Set up is done for you . No mess in your home and larger room  means  they can have all their school friends.

After school kids classes


Wednesday 3.45 till 4.45Cost $14 as you come. Mixed schools and all aged children warming up with progressive fun dances to modern music, then dividing into smaller learning groups. These groups are challenged with routines, technique and improving their dance skills. All styles are covered: Latin American, Standard Ballroom, New vogue and progressive dancing. A range of medals are possible to complete. Our students love having mum, dad, carers and friends watching their achievements. Social Competitions outside the dance studio is also possible but not compulsory.This is a great class to learn and make friends. Children all come from different schools.

ADULT BEGINNER/ADVANCED CLASS

 

Every Thursday night from 6.30pm

 With several teaching groups running  at one time so there is always a group that will interest you in a relaxed social environment.

First group class

 Come on your own or with a friend. Once you have your confidence stay on for our social Dance For no further cost!

  • Thursday consists of :

  •  

  • First class Free or $17 pp

  • 6.30pm with progressive dances to mix, say hello and build up fitness in a fun environment.

  • A teaching bracket till approx 7.30pm

  • spin the bottle followed by supper

  • Dances to choose from the Dance Board until 9pm ( 3 styles Standard, Latin, New Vogue )

  • Drop-in classes with no Locked in terms and payments

SOCIAL DANCE NIGHT

 

​

Every Thursday night from 7.30pm is our social Dance night.

This class is neat casual dress with a variety of age groups attending.

Age is no Barrier.

Dances across all styles with our 20 min get fit progressives in the middle. This allows a chance to socialise with all and just have genuine loads of fun with Mambo, jive, samba, rumba, onslo waltz and many more. All that dancing is rewarded by a home-made supper and a good cupper.

Private bookings

 

Private tuition is for that one on one specialised time. Time can be given to fine tune and build knowledge of dances or for competitive couples that require training to compete at any level.

 

These booking can also be for people that prefer not to be in group situations and have all information just for their own needs. 

 

 

 

SCHOOL GROUPS  

 

Mazza’s format dance classes for your requirements. Classes could be for developing mixing of male and females, treating each other with respect through dance.

Schools have enjoyed using Mazza’s for their grade 6 or year 10 formal. We visit you at your scheduled times leading up to such a great event helping to create life long memories. We can also visit your school leaver’s night as a complimentary addition to take some of the pressures off Teachers. 

 

BRIDES TO BE  

 

Mazza’s provides personal professional instruction to assist in making your wedding day special and build memories to last forever. Don’t leave things until the last minute. Don’t just have a cuddle that doesn’t fit to a song in front of your family and friends, even treading on each other’s feet, waiting for the moment to end.  How would you like to express your Wedding dance? Instead, come into a really fun, stress free environment and be prepared for your dance moment. It can be as simple or elaborate as you desire and tailored to your personalities and dreams. It doesn’t have to be the bridal waltz. There are choices.

COMPETITION DANCING  

 

There are competitions held within the studio several times a year and also through Dancesport Tasmania. These are usually the way competitors get started. Dancing at a state or national level is a goal for many dancers.

 

Competition dancing allows for travelling and meeting many great dancers to inspire your creative style.
